Friday, November 7th, 1913.

We rose early, & left Durham by the 8.20 a.m. express, arriving in London about 1.30 p.m. We drove at once to 21 Clivenden Street, Eaton Square, where Mary & Linetta have their abode. I went away & got my hair cut & then returned to have tea.

We travelled to Canterbury by the 4.20 p.m. from Victoria, arriving about 6.20 p.m. The Bishop of Dover came to dinner.
