Thursday, September 25th, 1913.
We travelled to Beverley, arriving there about 1 p.m. Canon Nolloth received us, & devoted the afternoon to shewing us the glorious churches of the city. In the evening I preached in the Minster to a great congregation. The Mayor & Corporation attended, & not a few clergy.
