I motored in a taxi with Marion & Arthur Rawle to Kensal Green Cemetery, & there officiated at the funeral of my old Aunt. Emma Hensley Long, from whom my second Christian name was derived. She was 83 years old, & had been failing for a year past. On more than one occasion she shewed me much kindness, notably when I was nominated to my present office, she paid my fees, which exceeded £50.
