Friday, June 25th, 1909.
Ella went to lunch with the American admiral here: I had a less entertaining experience in lunching at the Exposition. Mr Pelly was good enough to walk me round the show. The thing that interested me most was a small collection of wild beasts.
In the evening we dined with the Pellys.
