Thursday, May 10th, 1906.
Mṟs Dennistoun & and her daughters took their departure, being accompanied to the station by Ella & me. Then we strolled, read the Times, and "killed the time" till lunch, when we arranged to drive to Chillon. This we did; and saw the famous Chateau. It is far better worth seeing than I had expected, being indeed a fine medieval fortress, curiously dove–tailed on to the rock.
