Monday, October 10th, 1904.

The proofs of my articles in "Good Words", printed in large type, began to come in. I corrected & returned them.

In the afternoon Marion & I called on Mrs Hunt and, as she was "not at home", left cards. On our return journey we visited the Papist Cathedral.

That reprobate, Harry Marks, is returned for Thanet in spite of protests & abstentions of the virtuous.

Marion & I attended Mrs Nichol's reception in honour of her daughter's wedding.
